He Laid His Hands On Them

He Laid His Hands On Them

Now at the setting of the sun [indicating the end of the Sabbath], all those who had any [who were] sick with various diseases brought them to Him, and He laid His hands upon every one of them and cured them.

And demons even came out of many people, screaming and crying out, You are the Son of God! But He rebuked them and would not permit them to speak, because they knew that He was the Christ (the Messiah). Luke 4:40-41 (AMP)

That there are many sick with various diseases and many tormented with demons it is evident to all with an eye toward the realities of the afflicted. People have the same needs today as they did in the days that Jesus walked on earth.

This is why His anointing is placed within and upon those who follow Him in this generation. The ministry of laying on of hands is still vitally needed in the land. Believers in Jesus the Christ, the

Anointed One of God have received His anointing. It is written of them:

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:17-18 (KJV) Jesus said of them:

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. John 14:12 (KJV)

Are you a believer? If, in truth, you are, then you are called to meet the needs of humanity with the supernatural power of the Holy Ghost that dwells within you.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4 (KJV)
