Justice is turned away backward, and righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God) stands far off; for truth has fallen in the street (the city’s forum), and uprightness cannot enter [the courts of justice]. Isaiah 59:14 (AMP)

Our nation as well as many other nations of the world are in a crisis. It is an information crisis of immense proportions. Fear mongering and misinformation (lying) is rampant. The media cannot be trusted to disseminate truth nor can many of those entrusted with leadership positions in religion or in government.

Integrity and morality are being mocked as “narrow minded” and “old fashioned.” What, then, should our position be? Should we give up and be quiet or should we speak up with renewed boldness about the issues that the Bible clearly addresses?

The answer to this question rests in whether we have a biblical world view or not. This simply means that we are a people who view everything in the world through the lense of Bible truth and refuse to be intimidated by popular mores. Our biblical obligation is to be “salt” and “light” in a world of corruption and spiritual darkness.

Our relationship with the world system must always be that of being a voice and a life style of truth.

Rather, let our lives lovingly express truth [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly]. Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into Him Who is the Head, [even] Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). Ephesians 4:15 (AMP)

Don’t fear what man can do to you or what “others” may say or think. Stand firmly in the light of Gospel truth and know that your Reward is with you.
