House of God – Pillar and Ground of Truth

House of God

Psalm 84:10 (AMP) For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand [anywhere else]; I would rather be a doorkeeper and stand at the threshold in the house of my God than to dwell [at ease] in the tents of wickedness.

You can spend hours at a show, a sporting event or watching television and it will not benefit you in the least. Being in the assembly of the blood bought, redeemed, children of God while in the Presence of His glory and the preaching of His Word will save you, build you, strengthen you, heal you, prosper you, deliver you and enlighten you. The choice is simple. Choose what is best for you and flourish.

Almost everyone I speak to decries the moral decline of our society, the break down of the family and the church yet they won’t give the house of God the attention it deserves as it strives to build families and give defense against these very destructive things.

Supposed believers seem to be so self focused that they give precedence to anything and everything but building the society of the kingdom found only in the church assembly. This was fore told and we have been fore warned but seem to have ears to hear but do not hear.

Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

It is true that you can worship at home, study your bible at home, and pray at home but it cannot and never will take the place of joining together in the assembly of the First-Born who declared His commitment to build His church. The corporate anointing is the sum total of the individual anointings that can be found at home.

It is only collectively that the church becomes the demonstration of the fulness of Him who saved us and called us.
